Jim Oschman will be speaking at the ‘Frequency Medicine Meets Biochemistry’ CAM Conference on Saturday 23 May 2015. Jim Oschman will be supported by Dr Damien Downing and Harry Massey.
Synopsis
In 1985, Robert O. Becker MD published his classic book, The Body Electric: Electromagnetism and the Foundation of Life. He summarised his lifetime of energy medicine research, including attempts to regenerate limbs with electric fields. One of his extraordinary findings: he could trigger frog red blood cells to dedifferentiate into totipotent stem cells capable of forming any of the tissues needed to replace a lost or damaged part. The minute energy required for this was half a billionth of an ampere.
In 1990, Becker published Cross Currents: The Promise of Electromedicine, the Perils of Electropollution. He described “the emergence of electromagnetic medicine, which promises to unlock the secrets of healing, and the growth of electromagnetic pollution, which poses a clear environmental danger.” Much has happened since Becker’s classics were published, and a discussion of frequency effects is an ideal starting point for an update.
There are two types of frequencies: those that are therapeutic, and those that can be harmful. Everyone needs to know where to find therapeutic frequencies when they need them, and how to avoid potentially harmful frequencies. But first we need to understand how both kinds of frequencies affect us. Much has happened in the last year to solve these two related mysteries. On the one hand, there are literally hundreds of hands-on and hands-off energy therapies, from A to Z (Acupuncture to Zero Balancing) that seem to involve subtle energetic interactions between a therapist and a patient. And various therapeutic devices utilise low levels of various forms of energy such as electricity, magnetism, sound, light, aromas, etc. Precisely how do these therapies work, and what is the role of frequencies?
In contrast to healing frequencies, there is growing awareness that our modern wireless technologies are bathing us in an ever increasing sea of electromagnetic fields that are harmful to more and more sensitive people. How can the invisible energy from a Reiki or Therapeutic Touch or other energy practitioner stimulate healing when the therapist’s hand is some distance away from a person’s body? Likewise, how can the invisible frequencies from a distant power line or cellular telephone tower or other wireless device affect one’s health?
There is a common denominator to these phenomena. The cells within us function in harmony by ‘whispering together’ in a faint and private language. Some of these ‘whispers’ travel as electromagnetic fields (light). Learning the electromagnetic codes of life has become a new and important focus for researchers, and has enormous clinical importance. In the past we thought the words of the ‘language of life’ were nerve impulses and diffusing molecules, but we now see that there is a much faster and deeper layer of communication. This dimension is subatomic, energetic, electromagnetic and wave-like in character. The presentation will explore these invisible but potent realms and show how awareness of our personal energy systems can enhance our health, happiness, and longevity.
